Our Story · Est. Gothenburg

From the Gothenburg harbour to every corner of the North.

MATRIXFELT was born in a quiet studio in Gothenburg — where long winters, precise Scandinavian design, and a love for emerging technology shaped everything we do today.

A small studio with a big idea

We started as three friends — an architect, a 3D artist, and a software engineer — experimenting with early LiDAR sensors in a co-working space on Lindholmen. Our first clients were Swedish architects who wanted a better way to capture heritage buildings. Snow on the lens, gloves on the controller, and a stubborn belief that spaces deserved to be experienced, not just photographed.

Refining the craft

Word travelled. Soon we were scanning hotels in Copenhagen, showrooms in Oslo, design offices in Helsinki and summer houses along the Bohuslän coast. We built our own pipeline — combining LiDAR, photogrammetry, and aerial capture — to deliver digital twins with millimeter accuracy and cinematic polish.

Rooted on the West Coast

Today our studio on Lindholmspiren serves estate agents, developers, architects and hotel groups in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. We pair Scandinavian design restraint with careful craft: photoreal virtual tours, accurate floor plans and spatial data that Nordic buyers trust — from a city apartment to a lakeside villa.

The thread

"Whether it's a 17th-century townhouse in Haga or a glass villa in the Stockholm archipelago — every space has a story. We just make sure it's told in full resolution."
